HondaTrue Certified covers Honda vehicles up to 5 years from their original in-service date and 80,000 miles, with a 7-year / 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty and a 2-year non-powertrain add-on. HondaTrue Used covers Honda and non-Honda vehicles up to 10 years from their original in-service date, with a 180-day / 10,000-mile powertrain and non-powertrain coverage. Used vehicles are sold as-is, with optional Honda Care extended service contracts available.
A HondaTrue Certified vehicle includes a 7-year / 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty measured from the vehicle's original in-service date. HondaTrue Used vehicles include a 180-day / 10,000-mile powertrain coverage beginning at the expiration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, or from the date of sale if the NVLW has already expired.
Within 3 days of delivery, a buyer may exchange their HondaTrue Certified or HondaTrue Used vehicle for another Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from the same dealer's inventory. The returned vehicle must be in the same condition as when it left the dealership and must have no more than 300 additional miles compared to the odometer reading at purchase.
Every HondaTrue vehicle passes a 182-point Honda Certified inspection performed by Honda-trained technicians at Honda of San Marcos. The inspection covers mechanical, electrical, safety, and cosmetic systems, and a downloadable vehicle inspection report is available for every HondaTrue vehicle so you can review the findings before scheduling a test drive.

Honda of San Marcos' Free Lifetime Powertrain Warranty stacks on top of the HondaTrue factory CPO warranty, providing additional powertrain coverage that continues after the Honda Certified Pre-Owned warranty period ends.
