Are you in the market for a new sedan? Well, you can stop searching, because the 2018 Honda Accord in San Marcos is the one for you! This confidence inspiring sedan combines sophistication with efficiency, giving it an edge over the competition. When compared to the 2018 Nissan Maxima, it’s clear who the winner is. Better Fuel Economy

It’s a great feeling when you find the lowest gas price in town, but Nissan Maxima requires premium, so technically it’s still not the lowest price. That’s not the case with the Honda Accord! Using regular unleaded gasoline and hosting a fantastic fuel economy, you’ll save more and more each time you’re at the pump.

Lighter and More Efficient

Weighing anywhere from 200 to 350 pounds less than the Nissan Maxima, the Accord is able to have better acceleration and handling. Pair that with the Accord’s electronically controlled shutters and you’ve got an incredible driving machine. The controlled shutters can reduce drag and shut off air flow whenever the engine needs to cool. The Maxima doesn’t offer this feature.

Awesome Standard Features

When you’re driving with high beams on, sometimes you forget to shut them off, and that can be an issue for other drivers. The Accord can detect when other drivers are on the road with its sensitive light sensors. Once another vehicle is detected, it automatically switches to low beams. Accord also comes with a standard cap-less fueling system, which reduces fuel evaporation by automatically opening and closing whenever the fuel nozzle is inserted or removed. Another cool feature on the Accord Touring is the standard heads-up display which can show the driver key information right in their line of sight, limiting distraction. Maxima doesn’t offer any of these features.

There’s more to the 2018 Honda Accord in San Marcos than meets the eye, so visit us at Honda of San Marcos today for a test drive!
